Dentures are false teeth that have been custom-made to fit your mouth. They replace your natural teeth. Our full or partial dentures are made out of polymethylmethacrylate, and are custom fit to each individuals mouth. The acrylic base material and teeth used in the dentures, are of a high quality material, and the teeth are available in a large range of colours and moulds. Dentures need to be as comfortable as possible whilst maintaining function and a pleasing aesthetic finish. New dentures can take some time to get settled in, and sometimes can affect speech, eating and appearance at first. Although as time goes on, they will become less troublesome as your mouth learns to function with them and your speech technique adapts to the new feel of the prosthetic appliance.

Partial Chrome Dentures
Partial chrome dentures are similar to the acrylic based dentures where they replace the missing dentition in the mouth and function cooperatively with your existing teeth. The metal frame is cast to fit your mouth very accurately so as to minimise food getting in between the appliance and your gums or teeth. The frame is thinner and stronger than an acrylic plate due to the fact that the metal does not need as much thickness to support the plates function. The designs differ due to individuals mouth anatomy, but the patients requests are always kept in mind. chromes can also support teeth that normally break on acrylic plates, being reinforced or protected. Partial Flexible Dentures
Partial flexible dentures are an aesthetically pleasing dental appliance which can replace the lost dentition whilst not showing metal clips and gaps betwen teeth. These appliances utilise the flexible base material to wrap under the adjacent teeth to hold and stabilise the plate whilst in function. This appliance can blend into your mouth very well without much notice, and fits very snug to the gums. This can also help prevent more food from packing around teeth and feel more comfortable than an acrylic appliance. The material is quite resilient to most foods.
